About Us: Overview

The Amherstburg Community Foundation is a registered not-for-profit organization. One of the primary objectives of the Amherstburg Community Foundation is to enhance the quality of life and meet the needs of the Amherstburg community by maintaining a fund and applying those funds to advancing community cultural and leisure activities.

The Foundation will strengthen our ability to fundraise for the development of this dynamic, all-inclusive sporting and social facility, and through the fundraising campaign will support the high quality services offered at the Complex encouraging and engaging more people to participate in healthy physical activity and to adopt a positive lifestyle.

The Amherstburg Community Foundation connects donors, stakeholders, user groups, consumers, and the community — including athletes, health care professionals, staff and educators — in the pursuit of sport, recreation and leisure excellence. We do this through exciting fundraising initiatives that provide opportunities for donors to touch the lives of thousands.
