The Amherstburg Community Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, relies on the generous financial and volunteer support of our community. Recreation and leisure are integral parts of the Amherstburg lifestyle. Through excellence, innovation and a wide range of programming, the Amherstburg Recreation Complex will engage residents of all ages and abilities in a warm, welcoming and friendly environment, building lifelong friendships and shared health and fitness experiences.

The complex includes Canada’s first Miracle League Baseball Diamond, and will provide facilities for people with special needs not available elsewhere in Canada. This establishes the Town of Amherstburg as a leader in this field, and underscores the inclusiveness and sense of community that are hallmarks of the Town.
